Tapping numbers

Time: 10 min.
Recommended age: all ages
Size of group: it doesn't matter
Time for preparation: none
Material: Rope, number cards

Game description

For this game, you first need to form a circle with a rope. In the middle, you place little pieces of paper with numbers written on it. They range from 1 – 30. The object for each player is, to tap with one foot in the circle, any given number. However, this would not be a party game if there wasn’t a catch as well, which makes the game harder than it looks at first glance. The catch indeed is, that there is always only one foot allowed in the circle. If there are two kids putting their feet in the circle at the same time, they are immediately disqualified. Another rule requires that never two people are allowed in the action circle at the same time. Here again, they will immediately be disqualified if they do so. Needless to say, this game has to be finished within a certain time. Even better, have two teams and let the compete against each other. This is an excellent game to promote team spirit. After all the kids have to come with a strategy and then stick to it.

The team which gets through all the number cards without breaking the rules in the quickest time possible wins the game.
