Game description

Special preparation is required for this getting-to-know-game. The participants stand in a circle and wait for the game leader to give the starting signal. He calls out his name and highlights this with an activity which starts with the same letter as his name. For example, Paul paints. He makes movements like painting to it. Continue clockwise. The next in the round must repeat what Paul said and did and finally presents himself, for example, with the words "Petra paddles," accompanied by the corresponding movements. The farther it goes around the circle, the more names, activities and movements, the participants need to remember. This is an excellent way to remember new names quickly. Because the brain links the same initials with the movement and therefore the whole is easier to remember. If a participant gets stuck, the other kids are supposed to help him by first showing the movement which is to follow. Indeed, the brain remembers movements much easier than words.
