Game description
For this game, you will need two teams of at least 8 -10 players each. Broom Hockey is a fun game. All you need is a broom for all kids. As a puck, you can use a small ball. Basically, the same rules apply as in hockey: Each team needs a goalkeeper, the rest are fielders. The team leader assumes the role of the referee. The objective is to get the ball into the goal of the other team. Just as in real hockey, this is a bit of a rougher game than for example football. For instance, body checks are allowed to push an opponent away from the ball. On the other hand, it is not allowed to manoeuvre the ball with your hands or feet. After halftime, the teams switch sides.
Judging
The team which scores the most goals wins.
