Game description
The romp in the pool is not only great fun but can also be instructive. For example, if kids put on their gumboots and jump into the pool it is quite easy to explain dry matters of physics to the students. For this race, all the kids need is a clean pair of gum boots. After everybody put on one or two gumboots, they jump into the water on command. The objective is to get as quickly as possible to the other side of the pool
Option
The fun factor increases when the participants wear only one boot. Then they have to compensate for one-sided resistance in the water.
Judging
The winner is the player who first reaches the opposite edge of the pool.
