Game description

This game is best played outdoor. It requires three benches, which are set up like a gate but one side is left open. One child is the shepherd and gives his sheep commands. This is done by stopping or clapping their hands. The sheep have to listen to those noises because the shepherd is not allowed to talk. The shepherd continually gives commands through different noises, and the sheep have to follow them. If tow sheep meet, they continue together. The sheep can communicate by bleating, but not through spoken words. The game is finished as soon as all sheep are home safely. That, of course, can take a while for some sheep. A great game for the Easter break.
