The red sock
|Recommended age:||all ages|
|Size of group:||it doesn't matter|
|Time for preparation:||none|
|Material:||Circle of chairs|
All persons sit in a circle of chairs. One kid is in the middle and has no seat. In his attempt to grab a seat he can say things like: “Everybody wearing red socks change positions.” While those kids wearing red socks get up to change positions the kid in the middle has to seize the moment, trying to get a seat. The kid not able to secure a chair is now in the middle, and the game starts all over again.
You can also sit on chairs rather than on the floor. Everything else is just the same. Everything, for example, blue sweaters, green hair ribbons, etc., can give reason to give the command to change seats.
Not so important
